  • 1 large egg
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup sugar divided
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 3 tbsp heavy cream

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
  • Line a loaf pan with parchment.
  • Cut each biscuit in half, long ways.
  • In a medium mixing bowl, whisk together the egg, pumpkin puree, 1/2 cup sugar, vanilla, and pumpkin pie spice.
  • Add the remaining sugar to a shallow plate.
  • Press each biscuit half into the sugar on both sides.
  • Take a spoonful of the pumpkin mixture, and spread it over one of the sides.
  • Place this into the loaf pan, with the biscuit half sideways. *It can be helpful to tilt the bread pan while assembling the bread pieces.
  • Repeat the dipping in sugar and spoonful of the pumpkin mixture for all of the biscuit pieces.
  • Bake at 350 for 40-45 minutes.
  • Allow the bread to cool most of the way. Before serving, whisk together the powdered sugar, cinnamon, and heavy cream.
  • Drizzle this over top of the bread & enjoy.
