About Miranda

Hey, I’m Miranda — the woman behind Millennial Inspired. I’m in my early 30s, living in southeast Tennessee with a full coffee cup in hand, a candle going somewhere in the house, and at least one tab open for online shopping I definitely do not need.

This little corner of the internet exists because I wanted a place to talk about the things that actually fill my days: the skincare products worth the hype (and the ones that aren’t), what I’m cooking on a regular Tuesday night, the clothes I keep reaching for, and the trips I squeeze in between real life.

Why I Started Millennial Inspired

This blog isn’t about aesthetic perfection or a curated feed. It’s about being a homebody with taste — someone who genuinely enjoys staying in, finds real joy in a good recipe, and still knows how to pull a look together when she actually leaves the house.

I’ve moved cities a few times over the years, and each move taught me something. The biggest lesson? Eating out every night will wreck your budget faster than almost anything else. So I got savvy in the kitchen out of necessity, and somewhere along the way, cooking at home turned into one of my favorite parts of the week.

What You’ll Find Here

Millennial Inspired is built around four content pillars:

  • Recipes & Easy Home Cooking — Approachable meals from someone who learned the hard way that takeout adds up fast.
  • Skincare & Beauty — Honest reviews of what’s actually in my routine right now, not just what I was sent.
  • Style & Shopping — The clothes I’m genuinely wearing, with real thoughts on fit, quality, and whether it’s worth the price.
  • Travel — Highlights from the road, with full trip guides over at my sister site, RoadTripRoaming.com.

Everything here is written from experience. If I recommend a product, a recipe, or a restaurant, it’s because I’ve actually used it, made it, or eaten there myself.

A Few Random Things About Me

  • I could happily eat breakfast food for every meal of the day.
  • My ideal Saturday: farmers market in the morning, nothing on the calendar by 3 p.m.
  • I’m convinced southeast Tennessee has the best fall of anywhere in the country, and I will defend that opinion.
  • I keep a running mental ranking of candle scents by season (fall wins, obviously).
  • I married my love of travel and my love of home by starting two blogs about both.
